The Sree Rama Dasa Ashram is a revered symbol of spiritual purity, nestled in the tranquil environs of Swamyarmadam, near Chenkottukonam in Ayirooppara village, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Established in 1920 by the esteemed Brahmasree Neelakanta Gurupadar, the Ashram is rooted in the rich spiritual traditions of India. Its origins trace back to the hallowed grounds of the centuries-old Samadhisthanams of two Mahayogis - The Thapobhumi, where the seeds of spiritual awakening were first sown. Once known as Hanuman Swami Bhajan Madam , it later rose to prominence as Sree Rama Dasa Ashram, drawing seekers from around the world who come in search of divine comfort and enlightenment.

Gurupada Samadhi Shrine
This sacred space marks the eternal presence of Brahmasree Neelakanta Gurupadar, whose life and teachings continue to inspire and guide the spiritual community.
Seetha–Rama–Anjaneya Shrine
Consecrated in 1962 by Brahmasree Neelakanta Gurupadar, this shrine is infused with the divine presence of Bhagavan Sree Ramachandra, Matha Sita Devi, and Sree Anjaneya Swamy. It stands as the spiritual heart of the Ashram, a place where devotees can connect with the Divine.
Shakthi–Ganapathy Shrine
Consecrated by Jagadguru Swami Sathyananda Saraswathi Thiruvadikal, this shrine embodies the divine grace that permeates the Ashram, offering a space for devotees to seek blessings and spiritual strength. Together, these sacred sites create a profound atmosphere of devotion and spirituality, making the Sree Rama Dasa Ashram a true sanctuary for those seeking enlightenment.
GUEST HOUSE
We offer a guest house facility adjacent to the Sree Rama Dasa Ashram at Chenkottukonam, featuring 20 well-equipped rooms, each with attached bathroom facilities..
Jyothikshetram
A short distance from the Ashram is Jyothikshethram, home to the Mahasamadhi Shrine of Jagadguru Swami Sathyananda Saraswathy Thiruvadikal. At its core are the Spatika Shivalinga and Srichakra Mahameru Pratishthas, surrounded by Upakshetras dedicated to Sree Veerabhadra, Saraswathi Devi, Hanuman, and Agastya Maharshi. Mandapas honor the Ramayana poets, while the Gurupadatheertha and Nagarkavu reflect the cycle of life and transcendence within this sacred, verdant landscape
