The Jayanthi and Samadhi days of our Parama-Gurus, Brahmasree Neelakanta Gurupadar and Jagadguru Swami Satyananda Saraswathi Thiruvadikal, are particularly auspicious, drawing large gatherings of devotees from near and far. These days are considered pivotal, marking moments of deep spiritual significance in the life of the Ashram.

Among the key events, Sree Ramanavami, which has been celebrated since 1920 in our Ashram and Hanumath Jayanthi hold a special place as they are directly associated with the divine figures enshrined in our Ashram. Sri Rama Navami Celebrations last for over a month, including meticulous Pooja rituals. Regular spiritual meetings such as Sree Rama Navami Hindu Mahasammelanam are also organized.

Gurupoornima, another important occasion, is a day of reverence and devotion, celebrating the Guru-disciple relationship Additionally, Mahanavami and Vijayadasami are observed with great fervor, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil, with rituals like “ezhuthiniruthu”, where young children are initiated into the world of letters and learning. This ceremony marks their first step into education, as they trace their first letters on rice or sand, guided by a teacher or elder, invoking the blessings of Saraswathi Devi, the goddess of wisdom and knowledge.

The day of Thrikketta Nakshathra of each month is also considered special, with rituals and homams that reflect the unique spiritual heritage of the Ashram.

These events are not merely historical markers but continue to inspire and guide the spiritual journey of countless seekers who are drawn to the Ashram's sanctified grounds. They stand as testament to the enduring legacy of our Gurus and the deep spiritual foundation upon which the Sree Rama Dasa Mission is built.

  • Under the guidance of Swami Sathyananda Saraswathi Thiruvadikal, the Ashram conducted the monumental Sathakodi Archana, a massive spiritual endeavor undertaken in honor of Brahmasree Neelakanta Gurupadar’s centenary.
  • This was the greatest yagna ever since the Mahayagnja at Naimisharranyam in Dwapara Yuga, where Jyothis were brought in from most sacred temples all over India including Dwaraka, Kashi, Badarinath, Kalighatt, Ayodhya, to start this yagna.
  • This was followed by the ongoing "Sahasra Koti Archana," a grand event that continues to gather spiritual momentum with each passing year.
  • In 2016, the Ashram organized the Three Crore Lalitha Sahasranama Archana, an event of immense spiritual significance that involved the collective chanting of the sacred names of the Divine Mother.
  • From 2008 to 2019, the Annual Ramayana Navaha Yajna was held, offering a sacred space for devotees to immerse themselves in the timeless teachings of the Ramayana.   • Most recently, in August 2023, the Ashram hosted the Sree Lalitha Mahayagam, a powerful spiritual event dedicated to invoking the blessings of the Divine Mother.
